Customer Service Manager

HD Fowler Company is looking for a full time Customer Service Manager.
The Customer Service Manager is an integral position at HD Fowler Company. You will work under the Branch Manager and have primary oversight for all customer service operations and related branch duties.

Who we are looking for:
Strong product and material application knowledge (Waterworks, Irrigation, Pumps, Fusion and/or Construction Industry) PREFERRED but not required.
Previous relevant customer service experience STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Strong communication, procedural compliance, and time management skills.
Able to coordinate, motivate, manage, and develop a team both inside and outside the branch.
Able to interact positively with all types of coworkers and customers.
Able to operate in a high-paced, demanding environment under a variety of conditions.
Able to work overtime when necessary and/or required.
Previous management experience PREFERRED but not required.
College degree PREFERRED but not required.
What you will do:
Assist customers (in person and via telephone) by writing orders, facilitating returns, renting equipment, and providing quotes; quickly and courteously greet customers and answer phones.
Primary oversight of customer service including all day-to-day activities. These include, but are not limited to: hiring/firing, scheduling and managing employee hours, supervision and development of customer service personnel (e.g. evaluation, documentation, discipline, training), and accountability for all customer service-related metrics.
Assist in facilitating and monitoring customer service tasks including, but not limited to: sales and marketing, procedural compliance, reporting requirements, bid board management, customer relations, customer issues, customer accounts, budgeting and fiscal responsibility, safety, organization, and corporate support and communication.
Also assist with product selection and inquiries, problem solving, and acquiring non-stock material.
Support outside sales staff in writing orders, contacting customers, managing jobs and pending orders, and/or coordinating customer receipt of product
May assist manager with branch-wide tasks and/or take responsibility of the branch in the absence of the branch manager.
Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
