Located in Algona Washington, Primus International - Auburn is a leading Tier II Supplier of highly engineered metallic and composite parts, kits, and assemblies to the global aerospace industry. Their key customers are Boeing, Airbus, and Latecoere. Primus International Algona specializes in medium to complex titanium machining and structural mechanical assembly.

Acquired by Precision Castparts in 2011, Primus International Algona has become one of 38 plants within the Aerostructures division. Staffed with 300 employees, the facility generates annual revenue in excess of $160 million.


The Facilities Technician III conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment associated with facilities. The Facilities Technician III will also build, erect, and install additions, rooms, and buildings including plumbing and electric as directed.

  • Trouble shoots and repairs break down facility equipment to restore operation
  • Build offices, storage areas, and other items to renew appearance, functionality, or aid production
  • Maintain delivery vehicles per scheduled maintenance plans
  • Assist others in the maintenance of items when repairs are needed


This position has no supervisory responsibility but may provide leadership and guidance to temporary staff and/or assist with orientation of new members of the work group. Decision-making is independent on day-to-day activities as the position follows established daily routines.


The responsibilities of the position are performed in a general office, manufacturing and/or plant floor, warehouse and/or stockroom, outdoor environment. This position is infrequently exposed to wet, humid conditions, and all outdoor weather conditions. Physical hazards such as working near mechanical parts, exposure to fumes, air-born particles, risk of electric shock would be found in performing the required responsibilities of the position. Safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, face shields, and additional personal protective equipment as needed, must be worn to eliminate the risks associated with these hazards. Travel is not required for this position.


Ability to: walk regularly, sit infrequently, hear/listen carefully infrequently, climb and/or balance infrequently, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl infrequently, twist infrequently at the trunk or neck, bend infrequently, reach with hands and arms infrequently, taste and/ use sense of smell infrequently, use hands to manipulate, handle and/or feel in the act of performing the required responsibilities of the position. Must be able to: lift and carry up to 25 pounds infrequently.

Visual acuity needed for close detail work, clarity with distance, distinction with color, peripheral observation up and down/left and right, depth perception for distance and spatial relationships, sharp focus of objects brought into line of sight. Mental dexterity needed to work independently while demonstrating attention to detail and continuous awareness.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Five (5) years experience in Repair and Maintenance of modern facilities, vehicles, and associated equipment using a variety of hand tool and diagnostic equipment
  • Three (3) years experience installing electrical wiring and associated devises
  • One (1) year experience in Repair and Maintenance of HVAC systems
  • One (1) year minimum of experience in Lock out Tag out and Arc Flash Safety
  • Fully experienced with all basic hand tools and tool box


  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical procedures
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak clearly and effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
