The Quality Inspector is capable of a wide range of inspection activities to include the inspection of machined parts, assemblies, raw material, heat treat, and outside processing.

The Quality Inspector reports directly to the Quality Inspection Supervisor.
Primary Duties &
Responsibilities:
Inspect fastener installation, sealant, raw material, simple machine parts, sheet metal parts, bushings, bearings, and standards, simple assemblies, outside processing (NDT, finishes, finish coatings, thermal processing, etc.
) Document FAI report Document non-conformances May occasionally perform special projects Other duties as assigned Required Skills/
Experience:

years of related experience Ability to be certified with Hardness and Eddy Current, Sealant, Bushing and bearing installation, electrical bonding, and fastener installation.
Proficient in basic computer skills Experienced in reading and correctly interpreting complex blueprints and engineering requirements Experience in applying shop math skills such as trigonometry, ability to calculate dimensions, set sine plate, etc.
Basic understanding of BWMS (Business Quality Management System) processes and procedures Basic understanding of machine shop and aerospace assembly terminology and nomenclature Completion of Bushing and Bearing installation certification/evaluation Fully experienced with all basic and advanced manual inspection tools Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and write simple correspondence Ability to read and understand technical and engineering material and communicate effectively with coworkers Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Self-motivated with an ability to work alone or in a team environment Ability to maintain a positive focus and earnest approach in meeting responsibilities and goals Level of Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent education ITAR and EAR Disclosure This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.

export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
