Then becoming an Order Selector for Safeway is the right role for you! Order Selectors are active throughout their day working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case perishable products using powered pallet jacks.
You will palletize cases (how good at Tetris are you?) and prepare pallets to ship to your local store.
All while being a safety champion.
Starting pay is $30.
54 per hour, paid on weekly basis.
Reach full scale within 1 year! Starting wage will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Shift - Starts at 2:
30pm and ends around 11:
00pm or when work is complete.
Reliability is key, as you are part of a larger team that will depend on you to be punctual and deliver on a daily basis.
Weekend availability is required; two consecutive weekdays off.
This is a union warehouse with days off and shifts being based on seniority.
Our warehouse and distribution teams do more than pick orders and pack pallets; if you are looking to build a career Safeway has growth opportunities that will allow you to build experience and move throughout our company.
Basic Work Requirements:
Repetitive lifting including bulk cases averaging 30lbs and weighing up to 85lbs Comfortable operating pallet jacks and heavy warehouse equipment Able to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, stand and walk on feet for shifts ranging from 8-12 hours Detail orientated, accuracy in case selection Reliable and punctual Preferred Work Requirements:
3 years bulk selection warehouse experience preferably in a cold environment Experience operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
